I read an article that suggests that women play poker completely differently than men.
For example, the article suggests that women are more patient, less ego-driven, play a tighter game, less impulsive, and more risk-averse.
I also read somewhere on CC recently where someone suggested (was he kidding?) that women love a good drawing hand.
I know it's not good to generalize, but I had never really thought about the differences between the sexes before. I always look at a player as a player, but maybe this is not true for everyone, perhaps especially not for live poker, where female poker players may often have to "prove" themselves to their male colleagues.
What are your thoughts?
