I've heard for online cash games that this is a good breakdown of winrates:

1-4bb/100 = Marginally Winning Player
4-6bb/100 = Good Winning Player
7-9bb/100 = Great Winning Player
10+bb/100 = Absolutely Crushing Player

Now, do these winrates vary for live games? Like at the low limits of live cash games in vegas, is it not that crazy to get a 10bb/100 winrate? Is it easier to get this winrate live? Or are they about the same? (live and online winrates)

My GUESS is that live is softer but since you play far fewer hands you need to play higher stakes as compared to online to get the same type of $/hour

IMHO I think win rates are higher live. At least for me I can watch the table dynamics player wise and judge whether to be or not. Online people are hidden behind the screen and you can not judge them. I think the next generation in online poker should be to require cameras and audio for online gambling. This would bring a more real game to online

Winrates for live are substantially higher than online especially if you frequent a local smaller casino where there is more likey to have a bunch of old guys just tryin to have fun.
