You could write to moderator in the note "Problems with chat" and they ban them.I did that couple times))))))
people make fun of my online name Proud2Bwhack a lot. name discrimination is not cool. There is a guy on Carbon called GayCorpse who draws a lot of fire! Overall, Poker players are amazingly cool, never heard a racial slur, etc.
I've had chat bans a few times when retaliating to a morons comments, it is not a deterrent, I was banned for 2 weeks once and I sent an email and told them what the real meaning of the word I used and asked them what was so bad about that, my chat was reinstated straight away, another time I was chat banned for 2 hours, chat banning is a joke.
To the OP just ignore them or if it bothers you block the chat.
Learned me to never piss you off Z!
I love poker in the USA because it is so diverse, at my poker rooms any given day we will have 10-15, or more, nationalities represented at any given time (especially with being so close to Dearborn, especially in our cash games. Live - it keeps the real idiots out of the game because one comment and you are kicked out of most rooms, even against women, I threw a guy out last week that was drunk and called the two ladies at the table bitches. He apologized the next week so I didnt ban him. It is a game that is played worldwide, so most of the haters cant play - LOVE IT!
Online is a different story - with no real way to tell who people are, the haters come out to hate - thats why online can be such a nasty place, someone can come and say whatever they want with no accountability, you even see it here, opens the door for the children who need attention. Which is one reason why I always prefer live
Sometimes people fall of the handle when perhaps drunk and getting torn up at the table, this does not necessarily mean they believe in their words, they are still jerks, but just in a different way.
That clears up so much for me. I saw your screenname and thought Detroit but then I thought you mentioned floor managment in Vegas so I thought you were just another transplant who still had love for his hometown. I had no idea you were still there.
Michigan is the only one of the 4 states here that I am pretty positive I haven't played in. Many times considered going to New Buffalo to play (visited as a kid) but could never seem to get my car past the super soft games in East Chicago, IN.
yea, still in the D, I dealt WSOP in 2014,2015 and have many friends in Vegas, but I floor in Metro D, will def be back at WSOP next year though
4 Winds in New Buffalo has electric table poker, no dealers, it is a chipless casino, fyi (at least was a few years ago, prob still is) poker there not that good. Go to FireKeepers if that far west of D. Hammond is OBV the best place in that area, though not Michigan, but FK rocks! Great tourneys good cash
I played on ACR for a while as well and never heard one either. You play on ACR and have "never heard a racial slur"??
At minimum 20% of bustouts or severe knockdowns are followed by the N word all over the place. I, personally, have been called a stupid N probably somewhere between 25-50 times, which would offend me if I wasn't more white than Howdy Doody.
