Well November was a bitch, had a fantastic start on the rings, as you can see that faded rapidly, lots of set over set stuff, and some terrible beats. Probably at least a buy-in because of tilt. Not much in the MTT's probably in the region of $500 down over the month. Got Silverstar vip level on Stars, got an nice 80Gb I-Pod from the stars store.

December goals
- Play 10,000 hands on nl$100 profitably
- Final table an MTT.
- Play the Sunday Million on Stars at least once.
- Post more on the forum.
- Re-read the HoH series.

Well, the display information is nicely framed by the arch, if that's any consolation.

Okay, here are my goals for the month of December.

  • Increase my bankroll to in excess of $500.
  • Play at least 10,000 limit ring game hands (profitably of course).
  • Learn something new, and be able to demonstrate it’s successful implementation within this forum (now that’s a real challenge for me)!
  • Increase my PFR to 7% (it’s presently just over 5.38, which is too low).
  • Make a useful contribution to the CC community.
There's also something involving strawberry ice cream and Sandra Bullock, but I guess that's for a rather different forum :)

Frankenstein, ice cream and Mrs Congeniality. I love how kinky this forum is.

mine:
-Achieve silver/gold VIP status on stars for the perks et al. I'm short like 100fpps this month for silver and am too lazy to finish it up.
-Really use my stoxpoker subscription and start studying the game more
-Get some damn discipline and play rings profitably
-Win the lottery
-Play a more balanced range of games

omg play like an hour of 1/2 6max limit

Anyways:

  • Stars BR > $200
  • FT 5 MTTs
  • Finish NLTAP
  • Bubble a CC event
  • Silverstar on Stars (unlikely :( )

I haven't had any November goals, but I guess I've got a few for December.

-> At least triple my current bankroll
-> Final table a big MTT
-> Achieve Walk of Fame status on Hollywood

Well my official November goal was 500 by Thanksgiving break, but just tonight I hit my goal, screenshot below :)

Goals by the new year:

- keep doing what I'm doing, not too many HUs, MTTs, SNGs, or CC real money events. Play straight ring games at $0.10/$0.25

- hit $1,000 by the end of the month

- Become a pokerstars silver star (this is the easiest one, just means I've gotta play as much as I have the last few months at 10/25c)

The first one is just discipline, and as mentioned the 3rd is just playing hands. The second one will be the toughest, but I think it's possible.
Hopefully by the new year I can start playing at 25/50c with a 1k roll and start making some real money (although if I can meet my goal an average of 6k a year isn't horrible for a hobby on the side :))

Yip November wasn't great. I was off to a great start but ended up banking $17 for the month over 3400 hands.

Now that exams are over I can get into a serious month of poker. Goals are:

Play 5000 hands
Try and make Silver on Stars. That iPod is the goal.
Manage/monitor my frame of mind while I play or decide not to play if that's the case.

November showed an improvement (finally) in what has been a slowish year, just $500-600 a month but broke $700 in November thanks to a good run of tourney placings.

Goals - Improve more, secure more ITM placings, make more time to read up on recent poker literature.

:)

I'm now up for the 3rd consecutive month (since I play more ring games)

But definitely November has been good for me as I show more than 500$ profit. :)
Shouldn't have this very bad start of month (I suck at Omaha PL Ring games it is now official ), I will probably have made much more this month.

That last week have been amazing as I've made more than 2200 $ on playing only Holdem ring games ( both Limit and NL).

I've also succeed in being a Gold VIP on the site I play.

So now that i know what i need to do and in order to verify that this last week wasn't just a rush :p here is my goals for december :

1) Play almost only limit Holdem ring games as in November (multitabling at 2/4 or 3/6 maybe)
2) Give a shot on NL games only on one tabling (have tried mutlitabling and even on small blinds that doesn't work well for me :p)
3) Try to work on a weak point i found on my game : not being able to quit a table when things gone wrong thinking there is always a possibility to get back to even (yeah i know that's silly ). So no more "this hand is the good one" when - 30BB at the table for me. :)
4) At least retain my Gold VIP status (platinium one would be hard to achieve I think :D). If I do so, I'll probably be able to win a Nintendo WII on a side promotion at the end of December. Hmmm Nice christmas present :p
5) Be more active on the forum with HH and reply to HA : I think that's the most difficult point for me as I'm always afraid that my english would not be good enough for people to understand clearly what i mean.
But that is Ok if someone doesn't understand or understand wrongly I'm always able to repeat :D

Think that's all for december goals...

Get better at grinding tourneys...I'm already pretty good at that, but I need to improve my tourney game a bit there...gain some chips instead of hold on to what I got.

Avoid tilt.
Continue good bankroll management.
Continue to play all games (NLHE, Stud hi-low, PLO, O8B, Razz, HORSE) in both ring and tournament formats and play them well.
Enjoy the games.
Don't play when tired/late hours. One of my biggest leaks.
Think about each decision carefully.

I feel so micro compared to all of you guys... try not to laugh at my goals. ;)

But actually, November was pretty good to me. Both my FullTilt and PokerStars bankrolls have a positive cash balance (both less than a buck - LOL) from a zero start.

Since I placed ITM in a Poker Starts donkfest, I've placed in three out of six micros ($.10 $.25 and $.50 buy-ins) I know, they have a pretty broad payouts - but hey it's better than losing it all.

December goals:
1 - Maintain a positive balance and practice good bankroll management
(i.e. don't enter a $1 tournament with only $1.25 in the bankroll)
2 - Place ITM in at least one CC freeroll.
3 - Place ITM in at least one HORSE freeroll (got deep in several tourneys in November)
4 - Play less donkaments like PAD and Aussie. Focus on more realistic stuff like RR and CC freerolls.
