Since Full Tilt has a deal feature, I'm curious to whether or not you would accept a 50/50 chop, considering both stacks are equal. I'm mainly curious on SnG's, where both players have the same chip stack and the stacks are not very deep. Personally, I will gladly accept the deal, even if I feel the player is worse than me, since it seems like it's more profitable over the long term. What would you do?

I noticed the deal button a few days ago when I made final table in a buyin. I would take a deal anytime at the final table. I think this added feature was a great idea.

Depending on the situation, If I was tired and didn't want to go on anymore than I would be happy to take the deal but if I was wide awake and ready to keep playing for an extended period of time, then I would flat out refuse to deal.

Well, I didn't vote because it could go either way, depending on my mood and my opponent's image.

What the button actually says is 'discuss deal'. I clicked it at the final table, and it just said 1/9. So does anyone know what actually happens if a whole table clicks it? What do they discuss? Are the prizes awarded what would regularly be 1st thru 9th place or are they pro-rated by stack size, or....???? I imagine the play stops until someone unchecks the box.

I like having the extra feature. It would "DEPEND" on the circumstances if I would accept it.

For a large MTT where the money difference is significant, I would consider a chop. But chopping in a sng seems silly when it only makes a difference of one buyin. Though I suppose if you wanted to maximize your multiple tables and start a new sng rather than play it out heads up it, it might be worthwhile to squeeze in more sngs per hour.

NEVER. If you're gonna take anything more than what 2nd place pays you gotta beat me out of it.

I'd rather not. I didn't know about it until I was heads up during a SnG and I was leading for a while, then got sucked out on, and right after the chip lead switch the player asked if I wanted to chop. I decided I wouldn't do it unless the other player insisted and I didn't really feel like duking it out. I like to finish games, though . . . makes me me accomplished.

I clicked it at the final table, and it just said 1/9. So does anyone know what actually happens if a whole table clicks it

My brother in law plays a lot of SNG's and once recently he got to heads up and the other person asked to chop, he did it to see how it works.

Once the option appears, everyone at the table has to check the box to make a deal.

Once everyone checks the box, a window opens up for the chip leader. (I don't think the SNG paused, I seem to remember that he had to continue playing with the 'chop' window open)

In that window, there are many options as to how to chop. Once he chose the options he wanted, he had to hit accept, then I assume something pops up for the other people to accept or reject the deal.

Deal of course. :) There's very big difference between the prize of 1st and 2nd player. Heads-up depends more like on luck than good playing.

I would accept the deal in a heartbeat, unless of coarse my hand puppet advised me otherwise.

ive done it many times ...even on final 2 at a $2 and 9 player game.why not ...u could get unlucky and lose with their crappy cards .
i asked a guy once jokingly in final 2 in a 90 player for $1.25 and we had 22k for me and like 240k for him....he kindly refused my offer of 1$ more than what 2nd was offerring which was 13.95$.but luckily for me...i doubled up like 4 times and we were dead even so now he accepted a split pot...so instead of him making 21$ which i offered he had to accept 17 $ each for both of us...lmao

I think you are much better to play these out.
You should take every opportuinity to get HU experiance.By Chopping you are giving this up and slowing up your learning curve imo.
The best way to get better is to play better players and why would you chop with someone worse.

Gl 2 all,

I would take the deal seriously I mean its more than what i started with and some of those heads up stand offs last so long you don't even want to play with much strategy anymore because your tired.... I wish most poker rooms had this kind of chop deal I'm sure many people would go for it...
