I'm trying to build a decent poker library and it seems as if the general vibe I'm getting on Doyle's power poker books is that they're outdated...I thought that they would be great books to study...can anyone tell me if they believe they are outdated for today's poker generation and if so why?

It was written and published in 1979. (33yrs. ago!)

I have read on the internet that the game of poker is always evolving. I even read that players who stopped playing because of Black Friday and who are now returning to the game have noticed a difference.
I know I would not want Super System (it looks way too big, hee hee). They have it on the shelf at the library where I live.
