Hi all,
I'm new to the forum. I'm just looking for some feedback on a poker table I just built, so I can make the next one that much better. Any suggestions or comments you have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

it looks like a very nice table...can't see anything wrong with it :)
the only thing i can see that could be changed is the chip tray being moved toward the edge a little more...seems like it takes alot of space from the middle (but then again i've never played at a real table, so what do i know ;))

how long did it take you to build and how much $$ went into it?
i personally am planning on building my own for personal use

Total hrs would be about 8-10 over the course of 2 weeks. It wouldn't have been that long if it weren't for the 5 sandings and 5 coats of poly I put on the racetrack. It cost me about $250 in supplies and I plan on hopefully selling it for $450. I guess we'll see what happens.

I like it, could we be seeing the beginnings of a new company here?
If so, I think you are on the right track!

Thanks! You could say that...I have a small woodworking business (more of a serious hobby). I just decided I needed to make something different. I guess it's not bad for a first go around.

First off, your poker table is SWEET. I like it A LOT. Way better than mine (Kitchen Table). Here is some feedback:

1: Move the cup holders out on the black border(leather rail)

2: Take the green felt all the way out to the leather rail. This way when (DONKEY'S) go all in they dont have to likt thier chips, just slide them in.

3: I would definately move the chip tray, like Chuck said, and run the felt all the way to the tray. So the dealer doesn't have a step between the felt and the tray!

4: More Beer around the table!!!!!:D

Great Table!!!

It looks really good, maybe a little more felt as mentioned before but it certainly looks a real good table - nice one :):)

i personally like the felt with the racetrack around it, but it looks like the felt is above the level of the wood - it should be level but i like the felt "island" :)

Actually, there is only about 3/16" difference between the wood and felt. I see your point, though.
