Creative Juices Flowing: Build your Own Hole Card Camera

Just thinking about if this is possible/plausible or not...

I'm trying to figure out the best way to make a table that uses whole card cameras. I'm not thinking about installing them into the tables, instead I was thinking of maybe putting some cameras (or even using an iphone?) underneath a glass table (similar to the million dollar cash game , at 4:25)

I've downloaded an iPhone App called EpocCam, which essentially turns your phone into a webcam, and streams what it sees onto the computer. The problem is that only one phone can use this app in each IP address.

I also realize that this is strange/unorthodox/very do-it-yourself-ey. Any input and suggestions is appreciated.

That could work, but make sure you just use glass windows like (like on the mill cash game) because it's way easier to pick up the cards if you can slid em onto the felt after showing them to the cam through the window.
