You mean an IP address. Well, I play on Full Tilt regularly on at least 3 different computers. On my laptop at my dorm, on my laptop at my house, or at my desktop at my house. What if I don't start transferring funds or playing with my new account until I'm back at my dorm (I'm on winter break now) at a different IP address? And what if I transfer funds from my old account to a friend, who then transfers the funds to my new account? How could they catch me?
They may not catch you initially, but they will when you go to cash out. There are always posts popping up on here from people who say..."I tried to cashout and FT banned me because I had some other account back in 2001 that I forgot about and it didn't even have any $ in it!!!! HELP!"
The rake is the rake. I don't know if your 8k-9k rake figure is an exaggeration or not, but if it isn't, then you should be doing well enough that rake shouldn't be a bother to you.
Think of it this way...Delaware has no sales tax. If you lived in California
would you move to Delaware just to stop paying sales tax? Probably not. There will always be someone somewhere in life who is probably getting alittle bit more than you for the same stuff. But you shouldn't sweat it.
I think you are causing yourself more problems long term by having this new account.
