You can't count cards like at blackjack...but I suppose you could could the cards you see. It's way more obvious and small scale tho, like if 3 kings come on the flop and you have a king, you know that no one else can have a king. Same as flush draws, and other pairs. It's more of a "you have 2 cards, and need those to pair up or whatever" So if you have 2 spades, you know there are 13 total spades, so you have 11 chances out of the remaining 50 cards (cuz you don't know the other players cards). And you need 3 of them to flip. But the running a count on the cards to tell if they are 'Hot' is not applicable. It's more of a statistics game.

It couldn't work unless you were playing live, everyone was showing their hands, and the cards weren't being shuffled.

I'd say no.

Erm... card counting is actually perfectly normal in poker. It's also a trivial exercise in hold 'em, because you don't need to remember anything: all the cards you can possibly "count" are there in front of you. Based on the cards you can see, you can work out your outs.

It gets a little harder in stud because you need to remember upcards that have been folded by other players.

Don't listen to these guys, there is a way to count cards and know exactly what your opponents are holding (or very close to it). I actually sell this secret for $1500 cash, I give you a video with step by step directions on how to count cards. Just message me so we can meet and give me the cash. :deal: :listen:

better do that in blackjack as there is no such thing as counting cards in poker with the exception of stud and razz in which you can count the card that were dealt to other players, at least the ones you can see...

You cant count cards since we dont see opponents cards.
Aside from it, there are burn cards.
Lastly, only 1/3 or 1/2 of the deck is used. Then it will be shuffled again.

Either way, it's outlandish enough for me to call it trolling--though not in the strictly literal sense.

No you only count cards in blackjack.

You can't count your outs in a hand and even pot odds but counting cards doesn't apply to poker.

It's more possible in stud since there are more cards visable, and it's even way easier to do in 4 handed OFC. :)
