Hello, I've just finished SnG and as always, replayed all the game in my head.

One guy was playing like this: he raised rarely - 2 BBs all the time, and after flop, turn and river, he bet minimum, no mather it's second, top pair, top pair good/bad kicker, always the same. Heads up, got 55 and raised 3x BB ( Most of the time I was raising x2bbs) he called.

Flop Q 4 4 rainbow.
I check
He goes all-in
After few seconds I called. I was pretty sure he didn't had Queen, and with trips he wouldn't gone all in.
He flips J 7..turn 9 river 2.. Congratulations I`ve won.

After that hand I started to wonder, he might have had a pair too, probably higher than mine, he might have that and that..so I thought maybe playing all these hands with him, taking them to the showdown, I`ve gathered info, and I did that call because my subconsciousness worked out all the info and was like : He has nothing, we won.
So, could it be that I made a move subconsciously ?

that explains a lot!!

Since your subconscience flicks on at the time you go to sleep to control body rhythms, breathing etc., your theory of subconscious reading/betting would therefore explain why the Pro's are so good.

As poker on TV, here in the UK, is predominantly shown at 12:30am and is described a Late Night Poker it would seem that most big poker games take place late at night.

Have the pro's adapted their subconscious minds to be active, whilst remaining awake or at least partially awake?

You have some wrong info sir. The subconcious mind is working all the time.

And to answer the original question it is very possible that you had the help of the subconcious in making the decision. Sometimes you just get the feeling they have nothing or a monster.

You may honestly have a point, I know what you mean when you just think or believe its a bluff, and it turns out to be right. Its almost sudden thoughts for me, except I take a second to act because I just usually doubt my reads or thoughts for a while but end up going with first instinct anyways. I find first instinct usually works out for the best most of the time.

Sorry Mr flint... what I should have said was that the subconscience takes over from the conscience control over the body...

Better? :)
