Obviously the KK vs 69 is stupid, but should I have got away from the other two hands?

Hi, so last hand it's ok and standard just unlucky.

Hand 2 you should fold preflop. A9 is too weak to call a raise and You will make lots of bad As pairs on many boards. It's good enough to open it in late position.

First hand is meh.. at 2nl depands on the villain. He was pretty tight so i guess when he starts raising it's not a good sign. But he could have AT maybe, or JJ but that's it.. and he might not even start raising you with those hands. If you bet bet shove river and he's got TT i guess it would be better, but you could fold vs that guy's aggresion on that board. (Good play vs looser oponents).

Thanks im still working on my preflop game and i can see now hand 2 this is a pretty loose call. I guess at the time I was thinking im agead of villains range preflop here but still got into trouble. His check raise on the river did worry me, but I didnt give him enough credit to be trapping here given his stats.

First hand i think im behind most of his range here, only beating QQ (which could be a 3bet preflop anyway) and JJ. I guess really the only other hand hes playing this way is AA or a set so I think I probably should have folded vs villains range. Need to take more time to think these things through at the table instead of calling quickly.

What I would have done....
((and I suck worst than you...so keep that in mind))

Called the re-raise on the flop, instead of shoving.
Min raise on the turn.....

After that...it would've depended on the action...of Plyr 3.

I believe the shove on the flop was a bad move.
It doesn't seem you even suspected you could've been dominated after the flop.
Pocket K's are a cool hand to hold. But ,....2 pair is 2 pair, trips is trips.

((keep in mind...I said I suck worst than you))
(there are greater poker minds than mine on here)

I would've played out a very similar round.
I would've suspected the boat...but I would've played it out just like you did.
I don't see a way out of that hand...and holding my head up laying it down.
Even suspecting a full house.
It's one of those..oh well, let's do it... hands for me.

((keep in mind though...i said...i suck worst than you do))

Obviously the KK vs 69 is stupid, but should I have got away from the other two hands?

I would've got up, walked over to the coffee pot, came back and sat down, and started writing all sorts of CAPITAL PROFANE NOTES....all over that bass turd. Fish sht is fish sht. I don't care what it looks like. I hope you re-loaded on the table and sat there for the next 24 hours waiting on him.......to pull that one again. JUST..SAY'N....

another ..."oh well, it happened again"... hand.
CAPITAL PROFANE NOTES....and a cup of coffee, and a bankroll....and I would've sat there till I got bored as dirt...waiting on him to do it again. JUST CUZ I'M THAT GUY :tomato:

The only HAND....I would've played different would've been on that first hand. I wouldn't have shoved in on that re-raise after the flop. I would've called...and took a breath, and checked on that turn card. IN HIGH SUSPICION I just bet into a better hand on the flop.

After my checking on that turn card.....everything from that point forward would HIGHLY DEPEND....on WHY I was playing that game, that day, that moment.

If I was out to dominate and win the game, or any other game...that day...I would've folded off those Kings if I was playing to win. In that game. Under those conditions.

I got peculiar reasons that change....on why I play what I play, when I play it.
But then...I suck at poker..so there you have it.
My 2cnt's worth.

good luck on the tables,

OH...and nice 3 bet stat you got there.

Thanks for the comment. To be honest I might have got away from the kings vs the nit but I think I was a little tilted from the other beats. Funnily enough I lost a AA hand about an hour ago to a guy that called a 3bet with K3s and flopped trip 3's. Certainly not my lucky day!!:(

That's why my first reply was just 2 words, and to the point.

Because that's what I thought happened after I spent about 30 minutes on reading those stats and those 3 hands played.
The other 2 hands didn't line up with that KK hand logic.

It sucks when I'm thrown off from playing my best game only because I allowed it to happen.

It happens.
That's why that trip to the coffee pot is so important!!

good luck on the tables.
