I am mixed. I do think it's bull he gets to go play in his tournaments, but the victims should be paid back...

That's nuts! $7500 a month for the next 6 months is going to put alot of pressure on him. Imagine if he looses a $1k pot. He's gonna go on tilt n go jail.

He'll probably win a major and be up a boat load after payment, and being caught will be the best thing to ever happen to him.

Am I missing something here? Nothing new.

Poker has had shady characters throughout its history. Im sure there are more than a few felons at the felts.

However most dont have to win or get locked up.

Heres the thing. In order to pay $7500/month, what type of BR is he working with? If its enough to cover BRM(probably not), then it should be plenty to cover his restitution and should be stripped. And if its not enough to cover BRM then he's gonna need an epic heater or see ya in 12 years.

I guarantee that if you've played online for any amount of time, that you've played against someone with some kind of criminal record.

You've probably stood in front or behind one at the grocery store.

And you've probably held the door open at a store for one sometime too.

They are still 'people' after all.

Felons are people too!?!?!??!

lol, I guess your right, honestly I didn't think about that.

The only real problem he would have is maintaining a large enough bankroll to hit those numbers. How would he justify holding on to his BR to make the money he needs to earn to the feds.

Yeah the pressure alone is going to hurt him. I mean nothing against the guy but if he hasn't made enough money in poker to have the cash to pay these people (and to steal from them) good luck!
