How many of you can control your emotions at the tables??

I think that in order to become a really good player, controling your emotions its one of the first things you have to improve.

"When you become indifferent to winning or losing over the short term, you won't have to worry about going on tilt because you're focusing simply on playing good poker. That's all that matters at the end of the day - playing well. As poker players, we can do nothing more than to play our best game and let the cards fall as they may. When you adopt this attitude, your long-term results will take a turn for the better, no matter what kind of variance you face over the short term." Quote from Ben Roberts.

Good Luck Everyone..

usually if i get mad at the table i try as hard as possible not to say anything and keep my cool...the less people know about you the better for your table appearance.....plus i usually only get mad at the fish and although i don't like them for how they play and suck out eventually i do because it pays off!

I think I am good about controlling my emotions, but no one I know is untiltable.

You need Jedi training to be a good poker player. Fear and anger lead to the dark side.
