Clearly this looks like they were on the phone or messaging online and wanted to get serenity more chips, but honestly I have seen people do this before when I went allin.

Also dealing live at the casino I saw a guy once bet $25 on the flop and another guy went allin for $26, the original bettor folded, lol.

Looks like three possibilities to me.

1. Collusion (likely)
2. jc has total air like 2,3 off and just gives up. (unlikely)
3. jc has a small pair and decides to give up because he thinks serenity has the straight, or has paired the board. (even less likely)

Yep, seems like collusion, but is a tough one to determine. As jordanbillie implied, there are some actions that do not make any sense at all, thus the expression "donk" is used all the time!

Either collusion or idiocy, the latter is definitely prevalent in low games like that :p

Ugh! This is not collusion but idiots playing. This is a one dollar tourney-home of the donks and idiots. I play low limit buyins and you see this crap all the time.

Not collusion, just idgits.

The whole open limping with <4 BB... probably doesn't have enough of a brain to collude.

The only factor not mentioned so far in replies is the OP's comment about both being from the same city. In that case, it is well worth reporting.

Had they not been from the same city, I would blown have blown it off as typical online players.

Definitely a chip dump. Being from the same city makes it obvious.

could of been collusion but also ive made atleast 5 accidental folds in situations similar to that..i was being distracted by my background programs....while playing a cash game i remmember someone folded a .20 c bet to like a 7$ pot i was so happy i only had 2 pair in that omha game so u never know unless you point it out to the right ppl. if ur uder the impression its collusion by all means protect urself by complaining...

LOL at all the "definately" anything.

I think you are right to report them just in case, but there isn't as much collusion at those super low stakes. Not worth the time or effort. Could be, but could just be bad play.

Proooobably not collusion...

I mean.... $1 sit and go... colluding is too much work to earn... $3 max?

If they were colluding, dont you think they would do it at a level that it would be profitable at? at least $5-10+

I don't think so

I have seen alot worse and he did save 155 chips. Not much but it adds up in these type of tournaments and he may have been embarrassed about his hand. That's probably why he folded

LoL

At this limit I don't think you would see Collusion to often.
But hey it could be.
But why at such a low stakes $1 SNG.

Crazy things like this happen all the time.

Agree with this, but im pretty sure ive seen it in the low levels before, whats even worse is I think ive seen it on play money SNGs I remember two players from the same city move all in on the first hand with absolute garbage. Mind due you would half expect play like that in them games...

True, but then again if they are from NY, NY it is a little different from if they are both from Pullman, MI.
