Has anyone played here before? I'm trying to figure out exactly how it works. Just found the show, ClubWPT.com on TV, and looked it up. It says it's "100% free" and has a bunch of freerolls, and you can play for a chance to play live poker on TV.... but then it says there is a 2-week free membership trial. I guess just being a "guest" is free? I'm not quite understanding.

EDIT: Well, they just said during their commercial that their membership fee is $19.95 a month.

I actually know the company that designed the site ... and it works off of the UB game engine.

What you do is sign up for $20 per month. Consider everything then a freeroll. Most of the time instead of money you are playing for some other satty or for really random prizes like new microwaves or something.

Your cup of tea? Not mine.

I'm a charter member. I tried Spade Club and hated it. I pay $158/yr for it. How does it work?
First of all, by joining for a full yr, I got a free subscription to the Las Vegas Advisor which has a MONSTER coupon book for casinos' restaurants, etc. So, the site, itself has *free games as a result of your buy-in. the games are for money and for satellites into big games (live) in Vegas and elsewhere. Subscribers get money for referring others to join, as well. Any questions, PLMK

You mean like this.. [link removed~tb]/

Haha.. ya.. I guess I missed that thread. That was the show that I watched, too.. where Betty won the whole thing.

Funny thing, in the final hand. Betty had Q/10 and her opponent had Q/9... x10x rainbow came out on the flop.. all low cards and no 9, and Betty bet, her opponent kept calling... no possible straight or flush ever came out, and not a card higher than a 10 came out, and Betty kept betting her top pair, and her opponent kept calling. A 9 came out on the river, and Betty put her opponent all-in, and he near insta-called. Betty showed her dominating hand, and she won.

It was funny, because when they interviewed the guy that lost, he was going on about how Betty was a terrible player, blah blah blah... but he was the one who kept calling with absolute nothing!! LOL

Anyways.. ClubWPT.com did look interesting me.. I might consider it when I get a new job.
