If you close your account with a poker site how long would you have to be gone before opening a new account and be considered a new account and qualify for the new account bonuses.

You are eligible to open a new account after your current account have been closed for 100 years.

Well, first you need a new computer, new IP, and also move to a new country, then you may get lucky. Other than that, you will need to wait for the month that has 32 days in it. I'ld say best to wait the 100 years.

Sarcasm aside, you can't close an account. At least that's true (or at least was true) on pokerstars. I emailed them a year or something ago about closing an account and they said because of "security reasons" they didn't allow it. It sounded like BS at the time, and it still sounds like BS now, but I'm glad they didn't close it.

Your best bet is just to go to another site you haven't registered on to take advantage of new bonuses.
