Wow, it takes a lot of courage for 2+2 to republish this "classic" article about the future of poker by Mason Malmuth:

Prediction Number 2: Limit hold ’em will be the game.

actually, it always starts with no limit and then moves to limit, thats how its been in the past from what i heard

still have time for predictions to come true

Well he was right about alot of stuff but lol at Limit beeing the future of poker.

I like that it shows how prognostication can be sooooooo wrong.

From what I briefly read it looks to be from the December 2000 issue, long before the humongous boom in online gaming.

FWIW, about that same time I was prognoticating that by now we would all be playing almost all games online with live voice chat and cam shots standard. I was thinking that would happen by 2005, and while it can happen now it is still very clunky, and won't get smoothly integrated for at least 2 years.

For my next prognostication, I predict .........

If it is, then he's a hell of a good predictor, because at the end he talks about Moneymaker winning the wsop ME in 2003... :D
