Albuquerque, New Mexico is a great choice if you are also looking for inexpensive living with numerous low and high stakes games available at Sandia Casino and fantastic action.
Los Angeles is one of the best places in the country to play poker. All Limits, many casinos. The two problems:
- with NL Cash, they have small max buy-ins compared to limits
- Expensive to Live
San Francisco is another great place to play (well any Poker Casino in Cali is crazy good) but also quite expensive to live
San Diego is a good poker town and beautiful to boot. Slightly less expensive than SF and LA in certain areas.
Minneapolis is a fantastic poker spot (but only Limit and Spread Limit) and not to expensive to live...but your nuts freeze off
Tunica, MS is a fantastic poker town with great loose action and fantastic hospitality, not sure about living expenses (but I imagine inexpensive). Only drawback is there is nothing else to do but play poker and gamble.
