Had a question regarding sitting out. It seems that I notice a lot that people get a heavy chip lead and sit out till they are in the money. Is there not some sort of Poker etiquette that people should abide by or does it not matter. Get all the chips you can and then leave and hope you get paid? I'm so confused. Personally I just couldn't do it on purpose and I don't understand how anybody can. Please advise.

Or they can just fold every single hand except the good ones, sitting out probably helps you more than them.

It's their loss. They lose the potential to gain more chips. Even if they didn't want to play they could still sit in and play high pocket pairs.

Not very polite,I must admit.
At least they can't take chips off you.
It's the short stack's,that sit out, that piss me off.
They, nearly always seem to win their last blind.:(

Part of the online game

People will do it if they think it's to their advantage, and the sites aren't doing anything to stop it... in the long run it helps players who are playing b/c of the dead money.
