DoubtfuL! Anything is possible with computers but it is highly unlikely such a program is widely circulated

Ive seen something, but can I link you to it

Hi I am also highly suspect, but I did come across something that seems plausible. I have a link, but will wait for approval from a more senior member. before posting it. I am actually enjoying this site, and I just don't want to get booted. Especially by linking to a stupid cheat thing...

Actually, logic dictates you don't even need a link to it. I mean, if you invented a cheat like that, why make it available. You would win way more by CHEATING, than selling it.

I had a guy play against me and lost - then messaged me - you were playing A/2 suited? I thought, how did he know - I didn't show my hand. He then said, bet you wanna know how I knew that and he said he had a program. Funny thing is, if he had a program, why did he continue with the hand and me beating him? ODD.

He was a wise @$$ kid who we eventually busted out. Its not good to get the table upset with you! LOL

There actually is something that allows someone else to see your cards while you play....standing behind your chair. In all seriousness, I am quite sure any of these claims and products are tested and investigated for legal reasons. The gaming commissions don't want to risk anything tarnishing their image or negatively impacting the cash-cow of online poker. If such an item did become available, which its development isn't out of the realm of possibility, all it would take to thwart it would be changing the encryption method used. So no real threat here IMO.

There is actually a cheating program I've read about that will allow you to see your opponents cards. The trick of it is you have to actually get someone to download a program onto their machine that will allow you to see their screen. True some hackers may be able to force the install of the program onto your computer, but realistically it's a pretty small risk. Not 0%, but small.

For those who are doubtful, there ARE programs like this, but they arent used much. To use one, you need 2 computers and a ton of technical knowledge to get around security stuff on the programs. I would never try it but i know for a fact that it IS used.

Wouldn't the techies at the poker room be able to detect if a third party program was running in conjunction with their software?

I think the program this kid used against our table told him the cards AFTER the hand, even if we mucked. I doubt if he knew my hand, he would have continued to bet against me knowing I had A's and him nothing.
