I wouldn't be at all surprised if cheating was more
common in free poker games
than at actual cash games.
A) It's a free game, so the people running it would be less inclined to be actively looking for cheaters.
B) The cheaters would assume that there would be minimum repercussions if they were to be caught.
I think cheating is akin to stealing. There are a lot more shoplifters than carjackers, and there are probably a lot more cheaters at the micro tables and free games.
