Whats your opinions on changing poker sites?

I've always played at pokerstars, never gave anything else a second look (a quick play at partypoker once a long time ago), but have recently decided that that ship has sailed and I am never going to be able to build my bankroll on there. Now, call that negative (because I do myself) but having seen my bankroll diminuish too many times - sometimes down to my own silly calls, other times to suck outs - I've decided to cast Pokerstars aside and check out some of the other sites out there.

I read the very helpful Cardschat reviews of several sites and give in to downloading Full Tilt & bodog. Having sat down and played (only freerolls so far), I have decided I will deposit into one or the other (if not both) in the very near future - may aswell get the most out of the deposit bonus.

In the back of my mind, good ol' faithful Pokerstars will be in the back of my mind, constantly reminding me of the times I lost my bankroll due to silly moves causing me to bubble in the final stages of SnGs oh so many times.

What do you think the pros and cons are of starting to play on a new site? Does one outweigh the other?

Farewell Pokerstars :ciao:

If you leave pokerstars you lose all your player notes.

If you have no player notes then that helps explain ( some of ) your losses.

Conversley a benefit of moving site is no one will have notes on you. hence you are on a level playing field ( as sure as eggs is eggs people will have notes on you in pokerstars )

unless he micros in which case he only gets notes if hes a donk, or probably not at all as PAHUD can tell me that and i dont have to do anything

I personally just feels how you can do it, if you can find a way to manage 2 different sites more power to you, I think that would be the only way to please all your thoughts up there... ummm ... just depends really.. I'd stay with your site though

I play at both of the sites you're considering and they are vastly different. FT is always busy with fairly tight play (as much as possible online). Bodog is slower (usually @ 6000 online) so things fill up less quickly but has the loosest donks on the planet (can be great but the beats you will take will occasionally be brutal). I know that's not really an answer to your question but thought I'd provide a little insight to both rooms.
