Would be awesome for American players if Stars was allowed to return to the states.

Won't be for a long time I assume.

For a fed level, probably 3-5 years unfortunately.

It really is a shame that these idiots in congress get to control things that are pretty clear to a general thinking public.

Why on earth is a ******* lotto perfectly fine, yet a game based on skill is banned? Oh because we didn't tax the crap outa you yet for it.

Land of the free? Not really.

Just pure BS to me.

i miss poker stars. they had a cash game or tournament for any size stack. i never had to wait for a table at a cash game. most had at least 7 players already. and every tournament i played had well over 1500 participating.

I think if online poker becomes legal in all states which is a long shot IMO, that poker stars would be the goto site for US players. so call youe senator and congressmen/women that you want online poker legalized, the only way its going to happen is if the players make it happen, noone is going to do it for us.

Several years ago PS offered to help any way they could, including developing the software to track for tax purposes.

Yep, poker stars will return, they never left. Just can't let american players play real money right now. When could be any time between now and then lol. And nope, if your in the U.S. but live in another country, you still can't play real money. And dam people, the government is the people YOU voted in office, so if things aren't the way you like them, vote the bastages out! I'm so g-dam disgusted it makes me wanna hire a hit man to clean out the whole entire political arena and start anew.I know that sounds bad, but our own country has done it, so what goes around comes around. The whole dam issue isn't taxes from poker online, wake the hell up! It's the greed of the already super rich, and the vanity of the sick corrupt politicians. Vanity and greed go hand in hand, and are perfect bed fellows. Sheldon Adeled in the head is both. A mentally sick bastard with lots of money and jealous motives. Take a look back in history, why were revolutions fought? Because hard working people like you and I got tired of some type or form of repression. And when the masses had enough of the B-S, they hung, beheaded, shot, burned, and generally put the trash out. I believe that is the real issue in todays world, meekness, no more real men and women who don't take getting slapped in the face and running away. You shake my hand, and i'll shake your hand. You hit me, and i'll kill you. I think that is as fair as you can be. The government of the united states of pitiful america has only a few more steps before becoming a dictatorship. Think i am a lunatic? Ask germany. Or france. Or Cuba. I guess i got off track, but just this thread got my blood boiling again, sorry. I'm moving to canada.
