ok !!
this has being asked many time over ,and i see the same question over and over again whats a good strategy for 1-2nl, 5-10nl etc

but i am curious as i have never played cash games live nor online IS there much of a difference between low level ring games and higher stakes??

i presume the strategy is pretty much the same ,i ask this because ..say you study Harrington on cash games or whatever , you have a pretty solid game , its not going to matter what limit your playing (bankroll permitting) your going to stick to a certain pattern , and so are they.

like i said ive never played cash games online before , but i might delve in depending on the answers giving ....Please discuss!!

I don't know that there is an online game at any stakes that plays like the cash games described in HoC.

To answer your question, yes, the different stakes play differently. Generally as you go up there is more aggression overall.

And bluffing lol...
Try bluffing at the micros and you just blend into the ocean of donks throwing around money with absolutely terrible hands...

The way you play specific hands will change depending on who else is at the table. There are plays that make sense against a sophisticated villain that you would not against a noob fish, and vice versa. Your overall strategy may not change, but the tactics you choose to use at a specific table will change.

The higer the limit, in addition to a higher level of aggression generally, the more sophisticated the villains you'll be playing against. There are still noob fish at small and mid stakes, but a higher percentage of the average table will be pretty good players.

Well obviously the higher up the stakes you go the more sophisticated the play becomes. If that wasn't the case then every1 would find it just as easy at the next level up and that just doesn't happen. As has been said, there will always be fish at every level, but unless you can constantly adapt and make very few mistakes to beat tge regs then you will get chewed up and spat out. I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine it would just be a levelling war and the edges would be very small indeed.

If your looking for some good strat posts on beating micros in cash games there have been several here that are excellent. Try these for starters.
