Well, my losing streak which I mention here:

was well and truly broken when I used some of my winnings from that weird NLHE Turbo Freeroll in which I missed half of the tournament but still managed to finish 3rd

to buy into and finish 2nd in the Ferguson on the 11th of October and pocket a cool $203.00.

I should have known I was going to do well in the Ferguson after I was abused by a Russian player for being a lucky fool after about 20 hands.

What is it with some of the Russian players, they seem to play with an extra chip and it’s sitting on squarely their shoulder.

As luck would have it though, I have failed in almost every tournament I have bought into since then and must tighten up bankroll management to keep my 80% ROI average with the only exception to that 2 % buy-in rule being a CC buy-in (if and when I can drag myself out of bed in the middle of the night).

I would like to thank the people who helped get my game back on track but I realize now after losing a lot of my bankroll that my game has some HUGE leaks in it.
Possibly because I am still using somatic markers quite a bit. https://www.cardschat.com/forum/general-poker-13/oldest-poker-software-160413/

If anyone can direct me to articles about plugging my poker leaks then I will promise you I am not too shy to use them.

Good luck and good flops

I really like the results I have seen from people who use the Training Sites. They can be extremely cheap compared with the results you can obtain by using them. There are many good ones out there. There is even at least one site that caters to micro players and charges low prices accordingly.

Good Luck

I can see an advantage to using such tools, but I've always had the mindset that improvement comes with simply playing the game. Am I wrong?

Not necessarily...but if you can learn techniques from proven online players..and you are currently not winning...why not spend a couple dollars to improve.
