Except pokerstars, are there any rooms that regularly organize such tournaments with buy-ins $5-10? In all other rooms either initial stocks are very low (1500-2000 chips) or blind levels are too short (10 min). The ideal is 3000-5000 chips and 15-20 min levels with initial blinds around 10/20...

Offering tournaments like this is the worst way for poker rooms to generate rake, so you won't be seeing too many of these. Poker rooms want players to play lots of turbo tournaments and rack up the rake quickly.

You know why that is? Because most people don't want to play in a $5-$10 MTT for 6+ hours to win only a couple hundred bucks. The ROI isn't worth the time, and just because it is deep stacked doesn't make you immune to a horrible suckout deep in the tourney. You could play for about 4 hours and maybe cash and make a small profit. And in that same amount of time, you could have played 5-6 SNGs and made alot more money.

Yeah, but still Stars offer quite a lot of such tournaments (3000 chips, 15 min blinds). I'd like to know if other rooms have smth like this.

Well, if PokerStars is the only room offering such torneys, then it's too bad for the world of poker - it lacks diversity in some way. Sometimes you wish to taste smth new, but all that you find elsewhere are loose torneys which I don't appreciate too much.

Deep stack tourneys would be good practice for live tourneys which have 30 min. blinds and 5-10k stacks. Rather play one of these than a bunch of turbos. luck is less a factor.

partypoker has ones from 2 dollars up, but if you're in the US you can't play there anyways.
