that is some serious dough to be throwing down on a pair of 7s, especially after the flop. over 2 grand on a pair of 7s, nice work on that I guess.

What does make it Canadian? I tried to google for it, and I just got results for Candace Cameron dating some ice hockey player, lol. Actually, if you google for "canadian full house poker," you'll see this thread among the results. I guess this guy just wanted to be the first to coin the term when you make a full house holding a pocket pair, lol.

Its a canadian full house because im the canadian who got it..plus in canada we love hockey & have lotta snow..hence the hockeysticks (77) & snowmen (88)...

Just some silly name that i made up for it..nothing major...
just thought id share ...

What makes it Canadian?

Wild guess. Seagram's 7 Crown (a Canadian whiskey) and 7-up in bar lingo is called a 77, double 7 or 7 & 7.

Back in my drinking days, it was was one of my primary drinks.
