Hey all,
Just curious abiut how long you measure your sessions when you are at the cash tables! Do you play a certain length of time? Do you quit when your down a certain amount?Do you quit when you win a certain amount? etc.....
I just seriously started cash tables to try and build my roll. I realized quickly that I need to set cut off times on my sessions! Just wanted some feedback so I can use some of your ideas!
Thanks!:)

I quit when i feel i don't play my A game anymore. Could be because i played long enough, could be because I lost a couple of stacks and it starts to tilt me, could be because I won quite a few stacks and i start to be overconfident. If I still play my A game, none of these reasons matter.

My sessions are as short as I need them to be ... if i tilt i just stop. If i play well I just play. I cap my sessions between 70-90 minutes at a time and take a 15 minute break.

If I am winning, and playing optimal poker, unless there is somewhere I have to be, there is no reason for me to leave the table when I am playing well and winning. If I go on major tilt or I am not playing at an optimal level, then it is time to leave.

I don't set a time limit. I just play until the cards run dry or i get tired. I usually try to quit when I am up. But of course that doesn't always happen. LOL If the table starts to get low on people I might get up too. just depends
