Hi
Posting this here rather than hand analysis as am looking for more general advice on blind stealing, although i am going to use a specific hand to get my question across.
Final table 802 entrants mtt. Hero is on button with stack of about 58000, bb 12000, just folded my sb and bb due to raises from other players. Most blinds being stolen by pre-flop allins, most of table at it. evryone folds around to me, (which is rare, as big stack 2 to my right had been stealing most hands), and i have J5o, sb stack=48000 (after posting sb), and bb has 100000 (after bb), is my hand to weak to try to steal the blinds, or should i be doing this with ATC, and an M of less than 3. As it turned out in this particular hand i did try the steal, and bb called and turned ove AJs, but i got very lucky and hit 55 on the flop to double up.
But was this a donkish play or pretty standard for a shortish stack in this situation.
