I'd imagine you'd have 7 max at a table, or you could conceivably be looking at 2 community cards, no? I never really got the purpose of the burn card. If it's to prevent cheating, still don't think it would be foolproof.
Waldo is right. The burn card eliminates one of the easiest and most commonly used methods of cheating.
Yes, 2 community cards are possible. I've been in casino games a few VERY rare times where it happened. In most cases at live tables, the entire table will NEVER stay in the betting long enough to see 2 comm cards required.
If they used a burn card online, we would probably see 2 comm cards a lot. With all the nlhe players, it wouldn't take long for them to figure out that pushing all the way would make the last 2 'community' cards a holdem (turn and river) showdown. ...
