Great news. But its too bad that Charles Town voted no since that's the closest to me.

In the article it said that WV was adding them due to PA having added slots (and MD considering to add slots) and was worried about lost revenue.

DE also has slots and I heard that to combat PA's slots they are considering adding a sportsbook (they are one of the 4 states that are allowed to have one). I've heard anything on that lately, but maybe they'd also consider adding table games. They already have "electronic" table games (BJ, 3 Card Poker).

It'll probably take another 10-15 years, but hopefully either it'll be fully legal and regulated on the Internet or PA and DE will start adding other games.

It's really cool though that WV has added it.

I love Dover Downs...I've spent a lot of money there. But I think Delaware is way to close to Atlantic City to even think that adding table games would make it more competitive. But on the other hand, if Delaware added table games it would be the 3rd state to offer Racing, Slots and Table Games (WV now being the 2nd and Iowa being first).

One small step for man, one giant leap for ---------, on the other hand what isn't legal in WV, other than marrying outside your immediate family? ;) :p :D
