Break Even months

how many months out of the year are break even months for you? or loosing months??

I break even not often. I'm either way up or way down. Poker is a roller coaster ride for me and other players.

i break even about 6 months out of the year the rest of the month i am either up or down

last couple of months ive broke even,since im trying to make a br out of not making a single deposit the most i can loose is $0.

I've probably been about even for the last 7 months or so, sort of. I actually did take about a $250 dive over the course of a couple months I'd say. Not exactly sure because I don't really check my balance that frequently. I usually keep a running total in my head for the day, like if I play three $5 S&Gs without cashing and then win the fourth, then I am even. I hadn't realized that I had had so many losing days. But I've started back to playing a couple of $5 MTTs that I had previously been in the habit of playing in the wee hours of the morning. And after a couple of weeks I've just about recovered my $250. I should point out that although I do play every day, as well as putting alot of thought into the game, I don't really play as much as I feel I should. In fact, I probably spend much more time thinking about the game then I do playing it, something I resolve to rectify in the coming year.

1 out of every three months I'm even. 1 a year I'm down, others I'm up, although not much. The life of a DoN player... turtle.

normally you should not have problems with havung some bad months if you keep an eye on your bankroll managment, if you are a good player on the end of the year there will always be more money than the year before

im never break even,im either winning or losing.

I have just looked over my cash game report on my android App. I have been getting cold cards for about 3 weeks now. It feels as though I am losing like crazy.

However, I am up about $100 for the months october-december. So I guess I am break even for the last quarter of 2012. Not where I want to be, but that's what variance does sometimes.

I hope I come out of the slump soon.

So here's an update. I set the alarm on my phone for 2:50AM this morning. I got up when it went off and played the 3:00AM $500 GTD that I like to play, but hadn't been getting up for often enough recently. I usually play that one or the 5:00AM $300 GTD, or both. They each have a 5.00 + .50 buy-in and draw about the same number of players, so the pay outs are about the same. After winning for the second time in just over a week, or just under a week (don't really keep up), as well as 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place finishes and various other cashes between the two, I am back on the plus side. It hasn't been a tremendous year, or month for that matter, but it has been an absolutely spectacular couple of weeks, even though I still haven't been playing enough.

When I get pissed and stop playing for a month I break even on that month. Other wise roller coaster all the way up and down and up and down. Not always in that order. I probably average about 2-4 skipped months a year.

I brake even alot when Igo to the casino . I win a few here and there and I lose somrtimes too Ide say all in all I brake even most of the time.If I won more often then not I think Ide spend alot more time there.

break even sessions are a lot less frustrating then winning a lot to lose it again.
