Silver Level
After scoring a nice $3632.65 in the $3.30 rebuy on stars I am now left to ponder what to do with the money. I am not sure yet, but I imagine I will be withdrawing around $1500 for the real world, definately no more than $2000. This will still leave me with a fairly sizable br.
It's very strange to go from being a 5nl reg to being rolled for 100nl. In fact, I sat down at a couple of 100nl tables just for a taster and found them surprisingly fishy . Even given this though jumping up so many levels is bound to end in disaster so I figure I might go for a 50nl induction period (even here I'm very conscious of the money at stake). For this reasone I'm indecisive whether or not to leave myself technically rolled for 100nl (with >$2000) as this will inevitably end in temptation and disaster (I can foresee it...).
Then of course there is the fact that lately I've found cash games a complete grind (and not in a good way) and vowed to give tourneys a shot even though the variance is utterly painful. I'm not very good at managing money in general so any thoughts/advice about limits, what to do/not to do would be very much appreciated.
edit: I have had extensive 10nl experience in the past and a couple thou of 25nl.
