Has this ever happened to you? It just happened to me like 10 minutes ago. We both had Pocket Aces... CRAZIEST thing I ever saw. I mean what are the chances of BOTH players having pocket aces.... it would have been funny if one of us caught a flush lol. But seriously what are the chances of that?!!!

Yeah thats happened to me twice we both went all in pre flop and one time I caught to flush and the other time I was beat with a flush. Now that is amazing to me.

They're the exact same as the chances of both players holding K3 - and that happened to me earlier today. Shrug.

lol not even close. if player 1 has aa there is only one combo of aa left, whereas there are 9 more k3 combos.

Funniest thing i ever saw was AA vs TT vs 55 all in on a AT5 flop.

When I first started playing ring games at bodog I held 55 against TT and QQ. The flop was T55. Turn brought the Q and the river was a blank. Funniest part is that we were all so busy slow playing each other that the $$ didn't get all in until the river. :) So my flopped quads beat a flopped boat and a turned boat. Too bad it was at a nl10 table. Total pot size = $27.10 :(

I've been out flushed with AA vs AA the first time I saw it, I was happy at first then the turn brought the 3rd to a flush, i was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SPPPPPAAAAAAADE! Well, the river was inevitable :(

Whatever - you get my point: play enough hands and it's not that special.

That's assuming that the pocket aces are dealt first and then odds are firgured on the second rockets. Unfortunately all the cards are dealt at once. The odds depend on table size and cloud cover.

The chance..

The odds of both players getting AA in a headsup match, 0.00000369% or 1 out of 270,725, however you wanna look at it !

Lol. I just started playing HU matches and I've had the same cards as our opponent, but never aces.

That has nothing to do with what i was saying. I wasn't making any statement on the odds of both players getting AA, just that the odds of being dealt AA vs AA is absolutely nothing like comparing being dealt K3 vs K3.

*facepalm*

This is where I think my point got lost in the K3 issue.

This is not crazy. Play enough hands, and eventually you'll see everything. Would people be going overboard about this if it was 33 vs 33?

If the odds Spranger post above are correct (and I have no reason to believe otherwise) this would happen on average once every ~2 days on FTP at the HU tables alone. And every time it happens 2 people think it's the most amazing thing ever! :)

Seen lots and lots of crazy hands through the years both on-line and live...

My Favourite one that I dealt, Flop Came AAA.... BB bets and UTG raises.... everyone folds till the BB and he calls the bet. I then put a K down on the table and the BB bets and the UTG raises. The BB re-raises and the UTG calls...

Everyone at the table is looking at each other thinking WTF .. .How many A's are in the dack. Surely only one of them can have it...

I deal the forth A on the river..... Both of the players in the hand were bluffing into each other. Neither turned over a pocket pair and neither had a K...

Someone asked what they were doing and they both replied...

"I knew he didn't have it..."

Strangest play I have ever seen......

----

I actually went on to knock both of these players out by representing the hand I had actually hit later on in the tournament and they didn't believe me. Finished 2nd that night I recall... Strange..
(yes - it was as self delt tourney)
