Play Razz Poker to Win--I'm the author....reviews have been good overall, with one or two exceptions from the advanced level players. The book was written to help beginning and intermediate level players (not advanced level players) and based on the feedback it has helped these players.
This Pretty Much, although I've never read your book Mitchell. SOP is probably the best material out there even though some of it is pretty outdated (with some information being flat out wrong) in terms of depth that I've read. I honestly wouldnt suggest getting SSI for the Razz chapter, I didnt find it all that good and that's a lot to drop on what amounts to like 10 pages of information.
If you're serious about learning Razz and 2-7TD, I'd suggest getting a StoxPoker subscription. Their Razz instructor, Dan Abrams (also known as SGspecial and Dr. Razz) is phenomenal. He took me from having never played Razz to being a winner at 5/10 in about 3 months time. Although I don't play 27TD, they have Chris Fargis as a coach who I hear is really good. I believe he won a TD WSOP
