What books would you recommend that someone read, who wants to play No Limit Hold'em tournaments, from the outset as a beginner and then as they progress step-by-step to the mid-level tournament stage including supplemental books ?

I like the Dan Harrington series. It's simple, a lot of illustrations, easy to read, and pretty well organized. I have the two volumes that were available when decided to buy. I believe there's at least one more volume.

Everyone's going to say Dan Harrington's series but I have a little sleeper nugget for you.

WPT Making the Final Table. By: Erick Lindgren. Anyone else read this book? It is actually pretty damn good.

Yea, the Harrington's are nice... check out the Phil Gordon listed above as well.
