Has anyone ever thought about swapping poker books with other users in here? I used to do this on another site and it worked out well. Libraries have some stuff, but usually they seem to not have that exact book you want lol. I guess it depends on where you live too. I think the most you have to pay for shipping a book is 3-4 bucks using media mail.

Another good move is to buy your books used on Amazon. I just got Harrington on Cash 1+2 for 30, mental game of poker for 10, and Harrington on Holdem 2 for 13 (Someone borrowed my last copy and it disappeared!)

Book swapping would be nice. An alternative would be to swap .pdf files with people. Several friends of mine have an amazing collection of poker books on their computer. However, I am not sure where they got all the .pdf files from.

I always prefer having the physical book and being able to turn the pages. Just my preference.

Yeah, and I am one who never owned a kindle either. I like having a real book.

ive been getting all my poker books on ebay...got quite a few so far for a couple of pounds each...not bad as ive just started getting them...the good strategy books are alot more expensive but thats standard, most of them i have on my comp anyway, but no doubt i'll get them in book form over time...but at the moment just looking out for good bargains and ebay seems to be the place.

Since Black Friday, Craigslist has been a decent source for poker books if you're in a big city.

I think Amazon\Kindle allows you to loan ebooks to others for a month at a time, but I've never tried it myself.
