You are pretty much right about playing allll the time. These points are frikin hard to get, and unless you play all the time there anyways, I wouldn't waste my time. For ring games you have to contribute 1 dollar in rake for every 1 bodog point. Yikes. For tournament play, I think you get 3 points for every 1 dollar in fee's for that tournament. So a 10+1 tourny would net you 3 points. Mehhhh

Here is how the points work: 3 points per tournament dollar paid, so if you try to clear the bonus via tournaments this is 100% rakeback. You get 1 point per table hour played - so if you play 4 tables of ring games for an hour, that's 4 points. Points are also earned for time spent at play money tables, go figure - but only 50 points per month via play is allowed.

To get points, you have to contribute to the pot, and based on the rake everyone gets the same amount of points. For example, if I am the small blind, and I fold, and the pot gets raked a dollar or more, everyone who put money into the pot gets 1 point.

The easiest way to earn tons of Bodog points? Learn how to play stud - since you're required to ante every hand, that counts as contributing to the pot - I like to tell about the time I sat down at a 1/2 Stud/8 table, and 1 hour later had 57 points - that's $19 in bonus cleared in one table hour! Now, those games aren't always that wild and loose, but I did have numerous 40-point table hours over the last couple of months.
