hey everyone,

well ive been trying to understand how bodog poker points and tourney credits work but im still not sure even after looking at their website if i got this right?
Poker points are gained from playing any type of tourney real money or freerolls?
Do u get poker points from Play money tourneys? also from Play money tables?

and with Tourney credits is 25 tourney credit = 25 dollars towards a tourney entry.

Hi - bodog points are gained from "play time". So, if you play their freerolls (and i think play money), you can accumulate points. Points can be used for their freerolls (IE: their $500 9:40 game, 30 poker pts)

Tourney credit is just as you described. It's the same thing as a $26 or $75 token on FTP. It's as good as cash, but can't be cashed. If that makes any sense. So you use tourney credits to buy-in for other tourneys.

This is right from there website. It doesn't say if you earn a point for an hour of "free" play so I'm not sure if you do.

Ring Games
You will accumulate points by playing in ring games when you have contributed to a pot that is raked. Points are awarded based on the following table.
Tournaments
You receive 3 points for every $1.00 in fees paid for tournaments you enter. e.g. you will get 15 Points for a tournament with an entry of $50+$5 (buy in + fee).
Time spent playing
You receive 1 point for every 60 minutes spent playing at a table (sitting out is not 'playing time'). Max. 500 points for playing time per calendar month.
How points are used

Tournament Entries
Regular tournament events are held that you will be able to buy in with using your bodog poker Points.

Poker Points

I'm not too sure, only 70 or so percent, but I believe that you accumulate poker points with freeplay sit-n-go's.

I think there was a typo here. Shouldn't this be "You will get 150 points......"

No..it is correct $5 fee * 3 points/$1 = 15 points

You do get points for playing time at ANY play money table.
You receive 1 point per hour per table played even on play money.

If you sit and play 3 ring games for play money, you receive 3 points / hour for each hour played

You earn points by time played daily. It doesn't matter what game or if real or play money. Use the points to enter point freerolls.

The tournament credits are a good thing, you can use them to enter other tournaments and make even more money down the road.

The points system is like they have mentioned above.

You earn 1 point for every hour of play no matter if it is play money tables, or real money tables. You earn 3 points for every $1 in fee's you paid for tournaments.
However, you can only earn a max of 500 points per month each month.
(If you can earn that many in one month you have too much free time. In a 30 day month, that would be 16 hours a day! :). )
