If anyone is interested. 100 points = $1 straight up.

If you haven't updated the software client very recently you probably won't see the option so you might need to go download it again.

I would still prefer using my points in the points tournies. There are nice options to use them on including T$ Builders.

I think the points for cash is a rip off unless you play cash games and SNG's only.Once a week they have a 400 point qualifier where 1 out of 10 people get 109T dollars. That's = to a $10.90 buy-in which is more than double that of the straight up cash offer.

If you don't play MTT's,I guess this is ok though.

I'm not selling my points that cheaply. I have over 900.

I do play mostly sng's but was posting more as an "FYI".

Now that I think about it a little more though yeah using it for the $T potential is probably still a better deal.

Only have 350, but if I had more I would sell. They need to offer at higher prices. This is a rip off. And the smaller point tournies are like freerolls.

The smaller tourneys are a joke.Play in the 100 points or higher ones. The best bang for the buck is a 400 point qualifier which offers 109T dollars to each 10 players.I think most of them only offer payouts to 1 in 17 players, which is much harder.

Now I'm curious and trying to work out an equation for this (yes I'm a math geek).

To clarify this..when it says "1 in every 17 gets T$29" and that there isn't a remainder payout, does this mean if there are 18 players 1 will get paid or 2? What about if there are 16? Just to clarify this..I've still got all of my ~3000 points I've accumulated there, never played in one of these. So trying to decide what to do with it.

When it says there is no remainder payout it just means that 1 player for every 17 (in your example) wins T$29. If 18 play 1 wins T$29. If 36 play 2 win T$29. So divide the number of players by 17 and round the results down and you'll have the number of spot paid.

1) You must convert a minimum of 2,000 points per transaction.
2) You may convert a maximum of 25,000 points per month.
3) Exchange rate: 100 points = 1.00 US$
4) Standard bonus rules apply.

Bonus Rules: If you wish to use your bonus to play in the Poker Room, you must earn 3 bodog Poker Points for every bonus dollar issued before being eligible for a withdrawal...

So, in order to cashout your $20 (minimum), you have to earn another 60 points... kind of strange to have to earn points to cash out a point --> cash transfer.

Yes!!!They don't offer rakeback and the points are useless unless you cash them out or freeroll them. What makes up for this IMHO is the lack of good players. This is the only reason I still play there.

PS has a much better points system. At least you can get a good book or play from a variety of points freerolls and SNG's that are good to build T$'s with. They don't offer rakeback either though.

Soon I will open a Full Tilt account with rakeback if I can.I only had a play money account there before so I hope they let me.

Bodog does, or at least did, offer rakeback (they call it a bonus and it's %25). I have a Bodog account with rakeback and it definitely helps.

It sounds like they are trying to Enron you out of points - I never really liked BooDog that much - I tried - I played - I left - I never went back.

It still sounds better than when UB does points for cash. You have to win like 700 points in a week and that's only worth about $50.

No matter, I'll just keep saving for a t-shirt. Of course by the time I can afford one I'll be better off with a house-dress, but still...
