My question is as most of you on here know I'm in the 1mill turbo take down tommorow, I realize that most ppl made it through there points and in a sense it's a freeroll, but does that mean the ppl in this tourney are dumb? Bad players overall? Will they be bringing there A game also, since there's more money on the line?
I'm really stressed over this and I don't want to do what I did in the mill, by being overlly aggressive, or by pulling of some retarded bluffs, because that's how I ended up blowing my chances and was wondering if anyone had any tips as for playing a good game/winning game in this mtt?

If people i this tournament won previous free rolls to get there, they won't be any higher caliber players but will likely take things more seriously. Don't expect stupid all-ins early, but don't think you are up against pros either.

Don't be nervous, just play your game--it got you this far. If you are afraid to bet you chips when you know it is the best move, you will loose them all slowly.

i would have to say just stay tight early on and be aggressive with your big hands, and once you reach the middle stages you want to open up and be more focused on betting for value to get chips not to stack off. then once you reach the later stages just tightin up again because as players go out you will climb the pay jumps and if your only playing big hands at that point you shouldn't have too much to worry about other then making tough laydowns.

Good luck

Do not bluff so much in the early stages. There will be many calling stations that will pay off your made hands early on.

Looks like almost half the field will get paid something, which makes a case for showing up late.

I agree here, with deep stacks, you should ignore any feelings of pressure till close to the second break. IMO, you could actually benefit from hiding your mouse for the first full hour. If you folded every hand during the 1st hour you would probably be in the money.

OK, that's pretty extreme.:D But there is no reason to play around with iffy hands during the first hour, or two. Find the positional opportunities, and take advantage of them, but not at the risk of your stack.

ITM should be easy. ITBM (In The BIG money) requires that you first make it to the ITM spots.

Wow with a starting pay of $90 starting at 4000/10000 people, this looks like its going to take forever. I'm sure that there will be a lot of good players out there who will take this game very seriously, considering the fact that the prize pool is one million. I think most people would treat this game more like a high stakes game than a freeroll. I agree with the previous posts, play like you would normally play, try staying focused on this game alone getting good reads on other players, and pick your spots wisely.
And most of important, GOOD LUCK!!! You can do it.

I think you'll have to think on your feet. The idea that freeroll players are intrinsically worse players is a childishly ridiculous idea. It is reasonable to think that the less there is at stake it takes less skill to acquire that stake so there is likely a higher percentage of players with lower skill. As a player acquires skill enough to net win money, it's kind of "counter-ev" to use the same time for less return.

I personally know of players like Lollipop (William Thorson) EPT, wsop cashes in some of the biggest games and pokerstars Pro and Blaniac who last year won in excess of 280K who among many other players of similar caliber can be found in freerolls.

Think on your feet, don't underestimate the competition, play with skill, get some luck and you could be hitting the big bucks!!!I know it's easier said than done, which is why ultimately this game is mental, but this is what you've been practicing to do - what is there to be stressed about.......

GOOD LUCK TO YOU
!! - SOMEONE WILL WIN, WHY NOT YOU??

Are you serious Naruto? Was it king high flush vs the nut flush? Can you post the hand history if you saved it, I'd really like to take a look at how it played out. Great post above me lol

update from like 1 hr ago

I think i busted 2200ish, pushed with mid pair @ 550/1k with mid pair and 11k chips, pretty standard I guess that I run into QQ and am defeated.

300 fpps for $90 bucks is decent though I guess, lol.....
