This tends to prove what one might expect - the smaller the field, the more often you are likely to succeed. Of course, larger fields generate bigger prize pools. It`s really a matter of personal preference. Are you content to have long periods without success, punctuated by the occasional huge win (and will your BR stand the long downswings), or do you want smaller wins more often ?
extremely helpful post ego.....you gave me the answer..or at least the questions i need to ask myself.
i definately prefer smaller wins more often i guess because i cant stand waiting forever or more than a month without a win. smaller the field, more likely you are to succeed...very helpful.
when i deposited i was looking to play all MTT's and make a big cash..but it hasn happened...i went outside of BRM...and now need to deposit again.
next i will be looking at SnG's and smaller field tourneys...
thanks again for your much appreciated help
