The Big Game Fails... imo.

Ok, first 3 weeks were good. Then they had the best of bullcrap. So, what's on tonight? A rerun of the first week, although my guide clearly says it's new.

It smells like a Pilot Run for Fox Network from poker stars. I guess the producers are experimenting on how they can approach a successful poker show on TV much similar to the WPT, the GameShow Network's coverage of the Aussie Millions. NBC's Poker After Dark & of course the Main Event from the wsop on ESPN.

no new shows til august.

Ya I tivo it everynight and was disappointed last week when it was a highlight reel and now this week its running all over? They probably ran out of funding sense 2 of the 3 players took money from them!

pokerstars doesn't lose any money if the Loose Cannon walks away with money. The Lose Cannon only keeps what they make over 100k and gives the 100k back to Stars. If the Loose Cannon busts then PokerStars is out the 100k. And seriously 100k doesn't mean shit to PokerStars.

It's what someone else said above. They shot a few pilot episodes to see if it would be successful. Now they have to shoot more episodes. So next week will be week two again, then week three and finally there will be a new week after that.

I thought the show was pretty good. Anyone know when the next High Stakes Poker will be filmed? My guess would be sometime after the WSOP. Anyone have any info?

It is indeed a great show. This will help raise exposure for low/mid stakes professionals who can play the game along side high stakes superstars....well for the exception of the the week 1 Fish.

I like the show. I don't bother taping it, its on pokerstars.tv the day after it airs.

I did not realize how much high quality content was on that site untill I found the big game there.

Yes he was a fish but he was from D.C. really close to me so I had to kind of root for the hometown dude.

Whoever is in charge of getting the shows on the air should be fired. They get the audience into the show and then take a month off after 3 weeks? ridiculous.

i think they should of had like 3 loose cannons and six pros, that would of made it alot more interesting!

Yep. They're re-running the whole thing, which is pointless really, but what we can do, the WSOP is running and a lot of pros are still playing. The session with the russian girl was pretty nice in my opinion...

To say the least, the Loose Canon show the same amount of episodes in 3 weeks as High Stakes Poker did in one season.
