Ive been playing in a friendly home Omaha hi/low game with a house rule of only 3 raises. Im the new guy and this rule has been in place for long before I started playing. The problem is that they say the small blind is a bet and the BB is the first raise allowing only two more raises preflop.

I feel that the SB and BB are forced bets which would allow 3 raises.

In that situation I am not sure, I guess it depends on the house rules at the end of the day.

That being said however, the big blind is considered to be a bet, not a raise. Hence why the original raise is coined a 2bet, making a re-raise the 3bet.

I think you are playing with people who do not know much about poker, so the game should be EV++

NOT understand a lot about that rule, but I think what the Big Blind has not anything to do with increased because IT IS A MANDATORY Bet , IE the player NOT THIS increased to Play , but being forced to Put YOUR SHEETS free cloth .

You can always agree on ruls for yourself..
But if you really want to know, go to google, usually people don't know those things cause the diller or computer tells us what we can or can't do.
