Who do you think deserves a bracelet but doesnt have one yet?

For me two come to mind: Mike (The Grinder) Mizrachi and Tom (Durr) Dwan

Jean-Robert Bellande, i don't know if he would be considered one of the best without a bracelet but he is a gr8 personality at the table imo.
would <3 to see him win one!

What makes you think one deserves one? Because of bad luck in other tournaments at critical times or just because they are "known" players?

There are hundreds, thousands of players who are decent enough to win a bracelet who haven't won one, nor ever will. I think the question itself is quite hard to answer, as most answers will be for known players, for example durrr yet I believe there are and is plenty of better tournament players out there better than durrr who would rightly "deserve" one more yet will be forgotten, or unknown enough to list.

I think Jean Robert Bellande is incredibly underrated he consistently cashes and he's a great personality. I think he's do for a bracelet soon.

I agree with andrew. Bellande is very good and cashes frequently. He has great poker fundementals and experiences the worst luck at the worst times(wsop).

I think it will be awhile before durr gets a bracelet. He has very good cash game strategey but in a tourny once you lose chips they are gone. He loves big bluffs and squeezing a lot with multiple people in the pot which prob is not good for tourny style.

What about him making the final table last year in the $10k buyin HORSE? (he took 5th place).
In 2010 he took 2nd in a $1500buyin large field nlhe(2,563 entrants - Ev#11) for $381k. I'm guessin' he has an idea on how to play tournaments.
He also had two final tables in 2008 (7th & 8th).

Didn't the grinder win one the same year that like his two brothers also won or something? I remember all we heard about was how his whole family was great.

Durrr has come close and his strategy is great for building stacks. He either gets a big stack or goes home early. He is too good to never win if he keeps playing as many as he has lately.

My pick would be Nanoko. I think he is the best player overall but he doesn't play too many WSOP events. On his website it says he is playing $100k of events this summer, so he has a chance. Not sure how his game translates to tourneys.

JRB is playing the $1million buyin 'one drop' at WSOP this year! Can't wait to see this tournament. Wonder if Helmuth can keep his composure in this one?

Yeah, I've seen this. Not sure what your intention of posting it was. To show me he has done well in tourneys maybe? According to him he is down a lot in tourneys, and his results here are like all min cashes for twice the BI, except that Aussie Millions where he made $90k. He is playing a lot of WSOP events this year, so he at least will have the chance to win.

Durrr is one of my favs! I'd say he is the best w/o a bracelet, just from watching all the episodes of Poker after Dark and High Stakes Poker.
