best place to play cash LIMIT hold em?

This is my first post and i would be gratefull for all and any opions for the best cash limit sites for me to play. Ive been playing on pokerstars but i hear people say the site is prob best for sngt i play 2/4 limit and 3/6 limit hold em and was wondering maybe theres a better site out there for the games i play. (was thinking a site with rake back or bonuses) cheers.

I don't know if you are US based or not - it will make a difference. Also, it will make a difference whether your preference is for 6 max or full ring games.

If you are non US, and prefer 6 max - this gives you the most options. Sites withing the Crypto network (Sun, Littlewoods etc) give some of the best bonuses anywhere (but DO shop around) and rakeback is easy to be had at all of the leading rakeback providers. Traffic at Crypto is not great (6 max is just adequate but full ring is minimal).

The ipoker network is also worth considering if you are non US (Victor Chandler is UK based, has superb support and I can personally recommend it). There is no rakeback available, but the bonuses are very good if you play $2 / $4 or higher. Note that each site within the network offers there own bonus structure. There are are significant differences, so it's very important to check which best suits you. I'd definitely recommend Victor Chandler, but others may meet your needs better. The traffic at 6 max is okay. If you prefer full ring, then peak times (5.00pm - 11.00pm GMT) are the only times when you will find adequate traffic.

If you are US based, Ultimatebet or Full Tilt are probably your only rakeback options, but I've not used either so cant comment on either traffic or reliability. FT seems the most popular with CC members, but that's only anecdotal based on my perception of the comments made in these forums.

As you are currently playing at Pokerstars, you will probably find the traffic at all of the sites that I've mentioned to be a shock to the system (particularly if you prefer full tables).

I'm one of a (relatively) small number of CC members who plays exclusively FL ($1 / $2 stakes) and I prefer full tables, so have suffered the frustration of finding a site that has good traffic and also gives something back.I've currently settled for PokerStars myself, mainly because the bonuses are reasonable at the level that I play, and the quality of play (which is generally mediocre) plus good traffic makes up for the lack of rakeback.

thanks for the quick reply and yep that helps alot i was thinking of joing someone like sunpoker or ultimatebet for the rake and playin poker stars when the traffic is low, I only play 6 seated tables and im not from the us (from united kingdom)

try pacific(888), theres a limit royal jackpot table, if you hit the royal you get a big payout.

tried 888 the traffic is pathetic i was lucky if could get two full tables on the 2/4 limit, they do have these showdown survivor days though where the amount of showdowns you have go on to a leader board and at the end of the day the top 50 get money. im looking for rake back i think because i should make a fair bit back for all the hours i play

I joined full tilt poker today and have been well impressed with their bonus. I joined with a deposit of $250 but kinda regret not depositing the full $600 cos I'm clearing it quite nicely - they even give you 120 days to clear it which is a long time compared to others.

Their $600 bonus is gonna be pretty easy to clear if you hit the $2/$4 - $3/$6 tables. And, yes a rakeback deal is also pretty easy to find for FTP.

william hill (Cryptological Network) also pay you $50 a month if you play for 5 hours at their tables. Not a lot, it may seem, but it's better than nothing.

For smooth game play Paddy Power Poker (iPoker Network) is great! The $2/$4 Limit games are quite juicy and as far as I recall they have a good bonus scheme when you sign up.

Finally, betfair is worth a mention. They DO have a rakeback program which is easy to find but I didn't find their bonus much to speak of. Their traffic is pretty poor but their software is a joy! It's such a nice place to play at.

Just want to share some tips and give u my meaning of the limit side of texas hold em on Celebpoker (Not USA friendly)

I started playing there 12th of november, now as we speak ive had a great run, and won around 30k$ playing 5/10 to 100/200 limit hold em.

The best thing about it is that im not a very experienced player, ok ive played like maniac on the internet now for 1year in just limit hold em.

The action you can find on the limit side is beyond my belief! I have never ever in my life seen so much bad play, so many bad bluff, and so many callsdowns in my life.

When this is said theres is a couple of players you should be aware of when u play at the site, these players are very good and persistent winners in the game.

My list are as follwed : Plata, tomasius, Pureskill, chipsohoi, OllOmOl, Payplease, Albertina1, LadyM, SSN86, Yatzyturk, Alusch54, Jahnii, Landmen, Freeesh and FakieThis. These are players I try to stay away from when i played limit at the site. The rest of the players at the site is below average when i comes to the understanding of the game, and some of them dont even have a clue at all.

Examples here are djihaniaf, pet75, civciv33 (mark he always caps when he has J4 or 104 on his hand )

All this is based on around 50 000 hands.

Over to the best part, at celebpoker ull get 30% rakeback which is better than most pokerrooms.

All in all its a great place to play if u have some clue about what ure doing and the utter most important thing is PATIENCE!!! Be patient, play solid startinghand, and be able to get away from ure hand if u miss and this place i a gold mine! Trust me!

Last i want to say a little bit about the games.

50/100 and above, very though! Not easy to win, ive been very lucky and won 10k$ here. And belive me i have been very lucky.

30/60 USD/EUR/TRY : Very hard to beat, this is where ive lost the most, around 7k$.

20/40 and 15/30 : My 2nd best limits, here ull find many bad players, but stay away from the guys i mentioned above and ull do ok.

10/20 and 8/16 : I have really never got the hang of 10/20, but at 8/16 i crush everyone basically, here ull find many who just takes lottery ticket with 10x buyin and blow it all on a draw or 2nd or 3rd pair. A good strategy here is to play vs fewest opponents possible, and then played ure hand strongly.

5/10 and 3/6 : 5/10 TRY 10man tables is the biggest fishing site ive seen, when the game runs its where ull see everything u would belive is possible. 3/6 EUR is hard to beat, very though limit since everyone just give a sh*t, here ull find many from limits like 1/2 just trying out their luck.

2/4 EUR/USD/TRY is my 3rd best limit according to BB/H, here i have a BB/H on over 15 with over 5000 hands played.
