Hello all, this is my first post on cardschat forum so be gentle .

Let me introduce myself. I'm a 27 year-old recreational poker player from Greece, currently living in the second biggest city, Thessaloniki. My day job is journalist and I work with local news websites and newspapers.

I've been playing poker for the past 3-4 years, mostly live cash games and online HU SnG's. My goal for the next 2-3 months is to start playing the game full time and maybe combine it with some freelancing journalism (I have to write stories, can't help it).

In order to do so I want to leave Greece for another, most "friendly" country. The taxation here is 20% online, something that makes it super tough to gain a decent profit, since my ROI on 60's HU SnG's is 6% and on 100's 5%.

Also, many online poker rooms have left greek market, because of the taxation (they have to pay 35% tax on profits, the biggest in EU). For example, my fav poker room, 888 poker, is off for the past year or so.

I want to ask any of you full time pros about a good place to live and play poker, both live (I now play at 2-5) and online.

I don't ask for much, just for a city that offers a good living and have a lot of fish .

My basic expences here are about 700-800 euros a month so I'm looking for something simiral. My first thought is moving to Sofia, Bulgaria, where I know the game is soft and it's also a cheap city to live in, but if someone is living somewhere better please say.

Also, my bankroll for live cash games is about 15k euros.

Thank you in advance for your responces.
