I went to a local Casino out here, Casino Arizona, and I have a bit of an issue with the way people play around here. Nobody has any fun. When I play a game, more than anything I do it because it relaxes me. I've noticed that when I play a game out here, people simply aren't happy. They walk around as if their damn puppy got killed and raped by Manson. Given it sucks if you lose a load of money, but I was told from the very beginning, you shouldn't play if you're lucks run out in every other arena of your life. Poker is a good ending or middle point. Rarely have I ever come across someone who's life has changed because they played a poker game. Usually it's the exact opposite. It's usually been an instance of "I got a raise this week, I recieved an extra 500 in the mail for the IRS screwing up my taxes, my wife is having sex with me again... I'm gonna go play poker." I hate to be Oprah, but I would never play a game if I only had negative energy on my shoulders, because chance and "The Secret" have it, you're probably gonna lose. I'm going to Vegas in a few weeks to watch Knockout Poker Tournament, and I'm making sure to go there with all bags by the door and stress gone.
