beat my bad beat

5+0.50 SnG full table tournie

I limp in to see the flop with Queen 10

flop comes down King Ace Jack (rainbow)

making me a straight on the flop - I raise all-in (which is just over twice the size of the pot)

I get called by one player who turns over 99

Figure Im sorted as he needs runner runner to make full house / 4 of a kind to beat my straight

what does he get

Turn - King (2 pair Kings and 9's)

River - 9 (full house)

Bad beat or what - anyone know the odds ????

I'll beat it: [old link~tb]

After the flop he needed 2 of the three remaining Aces to hit both the turn and the river.

In yours, as long as a 9 hit, there were 10 other cards that could give him the victory. Or T/Q could have hit for the tie.

I think it was last year. i was playing a cash game on Tilt 2-4 no limit hold'em.

I get dealt AA make a little more then a pot raise pre flop, someone re raises me, Another just calls the re raise i reraise more then pot i think around 400 the one that raised my raise fold not the one that just called pushes all in i call. Cards flip I got Aces he shows Kings. Rainbow flop all small cards, Think T on the turn and River K. I end up losing close to 1k on that bad beat. so bad beats happen. you just have to move on.

I can beat it twice,.......one real....one freeroll

Act 3 sattelite at Foxwoods ....final 7 get 10k ticket to world poker finals - wpt....5 or 6 years ago) 16 players left.....my stack is behind the avg. a bit

button is 1 to my left...dealt 4,4.....4 people limp and so do I
flop comes 4,4,J..... theres a bet, a call then a raise...I re-raise all in and get 2 calls
turn and river J,J....and player one to my right has J,9 off...makes quad Jacks and sends me and other player packing

Hubble Donkament on stars

J,J dealt to me on button.....bet pot...BB raises...I call

flop J,J,10.... I check....BB bets about half of what we both have left....I raise all in........he calls

turn and river come 7,8......BB had 9,3 off.....and made 7,8,9,10,J straight flush

......good thing it was freeroll.......and I was glad it happened on 1st hand of tourny rather than 4hrs in

Ok well this isn't a bad beat on my part i won the hand. I was playing a SnG on pokerstars,
was dealt JJ early position
Raised the blinds 4x, only one caller in late position
flop comes J 9 9. I check, he raises about 40% of the pot, i call
turn comes J. I check, he pushes all his chips in and i call
He shows quad 9's to my quad J's!!

I have never seen anyone online or in a live game lose on quads..... I actually felt bad for him (well not that bad!!)

oh yeah and to add insult to injury, it was a bit later in the game, close to the bubble. Both of us were in the top 3 in chips as well

In my previous post I spoke about my 80% bad beats in the $1 SNG, so I moved up to the $2 SNG.
This is what happened my first 4tournies at the $2 level....
1. I am dealt AA early in the tournie - I put in 5 bets - 2 callers - flop A Q 10 spades, I go all in and lose the a royal flush.
2. I am dealt A 3 - flop 10 3 3 - I raise 4 bets, 1 caller - turn A, I go all in - river A - my opponent has A 10 and I lose.
3. I go heads up to win the tourney - all in A 8 my opponents had A 7 - he flops a 7 on the river.
4. I am on the bubble - I go all in 550 chips with JJ - big chip leader calls with 3 2!! turn is 2 and river is 2.

I can beat that.

$3 + .40/6-man turbo.

3 players left, blinds are $200/$400, I'm on button with Ad10h and about $2200. I raise to $800. BB with about $2400 calls with Ah10d.

Flop comes 8d9dJd.

So I've got an ace, an outside straight draw and a nut flush draw.

I shove.

He shoves.

Turn is Qd.

I make my flush, he hits his two outer to make a straight flush.

At the flop I was a 24 to 9% favorite, and there was a 67% chance we'd chop.

Ok, here's a bad beat...

Almost in the money out of 4000 people in a bodog $500 freeroll.

I get AsAd
I raise 5x big blind, hoping for action.
Get reraised to all-in by a guy with barely more than me.
I call.
He has AhAc
I'm thinking split.
Flop 4h8h10h
Oh damn.
Turn 8s
Whew...
River Kh
Damnit!!!! How!!
I popped the money bubble with that loss.
